A Day Never Forgotten!
September 11, 2001 will be a day that I'll never forget!
Alex and I was at work finishing up on a session when Phil called the office and told us to quickly turn on the television! He said an airplane had hit one of the World Trade Center Towers in NYC. We all ran (even our client) to the front room, turned the TV on, and as we watched in horror the live footage of the tower engulfed in fire and smoke, we saw the second plane hit the other tower. I couldn't believe what I was watching! I immediately burst into tears in total disbelief.
I always heard my grandparents and my parents tell me that they would never forget where they were and what they were doing the moment they watched a man walk on the moon or when JFK was shot. I think every generation has moments just like this! This moment for me was the morning our nation was under attack. It was complete chaos in NYC and fear swept the entire country as we watched this all unveil on television.
We live in a world full many blessings but we should never forget that it could all be taken away in a single moment! These are the moments that test us to the core and make us grab the ones we love and never let go.
We should never forget!!
